Twins on Twins on Trends

I’m pretty sure all good things (clotheswise) come in two’s, Isn’t it just so great to have an option, something with a slight alteration to choose from because there is always that perfect piece you find, exactly what you’re after and somehow, something has lead you straight to it, a higher power maybe… but oh,wait…no, there’s a diamante SKULL on the back (courtesy of Zadig and Voltaire). This twin business definitely lends a hand when this  unfortunate turn of events happens and highlights the true meaning of a ‘collection’. In this years spring/summer Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs collections, we were definitely seeing double trouble and It seems J.W Anderson have followed suit in their pre-fall collection that evokes a particular look of innocent yet extremely, extremely well dressed young ladies hand picked from an array of different backgrounds. Image1st Pair of twins. These two look like something out of ‘Madeleine‘ but totally upgraded. Picture them a little younger, holding hands..hopping and skipping through the cobbled streets on a drizzly, parisian day. (my personal fave)

Image2nd Pair of twins. Again, we’re talking a chic, upgraded version, but these two feel like much more of farm folk to me. Perhaps french countryside but there’s quite a warm, british countryside feel to these looks. Then again, I expect no one to grace a farm in such an attire as this.Image

3rd Pair of twins. Apologies, I don’t believe I have left best til last but nonetheless I would cast this 3rd pair in an up and coming Sci-fi movie, a futuristic gladiator. Picture the battle of Troy with a sexy twist set amongst the stars.

So there we have it, my random take on my favourite looks from the J.W Anderson pre fall 13 collection.

I love that grey dress – it reminds me of one I had when I lived in Milan. I used to buy all my clothes from a designer called Anna Lenti. Don’t know if she’s still there. xx
